My name is Christa Simons. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature (English-Italian) and I’m currently in the final stages of my Master’s degree in Translation (English-Italian-Dutch) at Ghent University. Because of my studies, I have an excellent knowledge of Dutch, English and Italian as well as experience in translating texts within numerous specialisations.
During my master’s, I set up my own translation agency together with other students as part of the internship. This worked out so well that I decided to start for myself.
In my spare time, I like to cook and bake (preferably Italian, of course!), mess around in my vegetable garden or help with the digitisation of archives. I have a broad interest in (local) history and everything related to language in general.
